1. Scope of Agreement
These Terms of Service govern your relationship with Grand Holidays when utilizing our private travel design desk or purchasing any curated travel itineraries. By submitting an inquiry at tours@godwinhotels.com, chatting with our curators via WhatsApp, or making a deposit, you agree to be bound by these terms.
2. Bespoke Consultation & Design Fee
Our travel curators invest significant historical research, logistical alignment, and design work to build completely custom itineraries:
- Inquiries made through our online channels are reviewed within 24 hours.
- The initial draft itinerary is provided as a complimentary showcase of our creative vision.
- Subsequent detailed revisions, exact partner rates, and final slot blockings may require a non-refundable Design Curation Deposit, which is fully credited toward your final booking balance.
3. Booking & Confirmation Deposits
Due to the exclusive nature of heritage palace suites, private SUV fleet operations, premium train cabin blockings, and local expert schedules:
- A deposit of 50% of the total tour price is required to formally secure bookings.
- The remaining balance must be cleared at least 30 days prior to the scheduled commencement of the tour.
- For bookings made within 30 days of travel, full payment is required immediately upon confirmation.
4. Cancellations, Modifications, & Refunds
Cancellation fees depend directly on the transportation configurations and partner reservation guidelines:
- General Tours (Flight or Multi-Day Road): Cancellations made 45+ days prior to travel receive a full refund minus a 10% administrative curation fee. Cancellations between 15-44 days prior incur a 50% cancellation fee. Cancellations within 14 days of travel are non-refundable.
- Same-Day & Local Tours: Same-day tour reservations (e.g., private car tours) must be modified or cancelled at least 48 hours in advance to receive a refund.
- Rail Package Bookings: Luxury heritage train bookings (e.g., Palace on Wheels or specific express cabins) follow strict railway operator rules and deposits may be completely non-refundable once tickets are officially issued.
- Modifications to dates or travel configurations are accommodated whenever possible, subject to accommodation availability and additional partner charges.
5. Liability & Force Majeure
Grand Holidays acts as a luxury coordinator connecting you to premium airlines, rail companies, heritage havelis, and independent guides. While we select our partners with the utmost care, we are not liable for travel delays, local strikes, weather interruptions (e.g., heavy monsoon or winter Himalayan passes blockage), or accidents beyond our control.
We strongly recommend all guests purchase comprehensive premium travel insurance covering medical, luggage, and cancellation risks.
6. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any legal disputes arising out of contracts, booking agreements, or active itineraries shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Delhi, India.
