Yes. Visitors must wear modest clothing. Shoulders and knees must be covered for both men and women. At Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, you will also be required to cover your head (scarves are provided at the entrance) and remove your shoes before entering all places of worship.
Photography is generally allowed in the outer courtyards of most temples, but strictly prohibited inside the main shrines. At Akshardham Temple, electronics, including mobile phones and cameras, are entirely prohibited inside the complex. Secure cloakrooms are available.
Entry to the main Akshardham Temple complex is free. However, if you choose to view the special exhibitions (Robotics, Boat Ride, Film), tickets must be purchased on-site. Your guide will assist you with this if desired.
