Yes — absolutely. The Yamuna Expressway connects Delhi and Agra in just 3 to 3.5 hours each way, making a same-day round trip very comfortable. We depart at 04:30 AM to beat traffic and arrive in Agra by 07:30–08:00 AM. After visiting the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, and optionally Mehtab Bagh, we return to Hotel Godwin Deluxe by 05:30–06:30 PM. It is an early and full day, but immensely rewarding.
The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) requires monument tickets to be purchased in person at the gate by each visitor with valid ID. Tickets cannot be legally procured in advance by a third party on behalf of guests. Taj Mahal tickets for foreign nationals are approximately ₹1,300/person, Agra Fort is ₹650/person, and Mehtab Bagh is ₹200/person. Our team will guide you through the ticket process on arrival.
Standard departure is at 04:30 AM from Hotel Godwin Deluxe, Paharganj, New Delhi. This early start is essential to reach the Taj Mahal by sunrise (approximately 07:30–08:00 AM) — the most magical, uncrowded, and photographically stunning time to visit. If you would prefer a later departure (e.g., 06:00 AM), please mention it in your booking notes and we will adjust accordingly, though a sunrise arrival is strongly recommended.
The complimentary breakfast is served at a curated restaurant in Agra after your Taj Mahal visit (approximately 09:30–10:30 AM). It includes a full North Indian and continental spread: fresh fruit, yoghurt, bread, eggs, paratha or poha, chai or coffee, and fresh juice. Vegetarian, vegan, and Jain options are available — please specify any dietary requirements in your booking notes.
The Sedan tier provides a private air-conditioned car with a professional chauffeur and breakfast — ideal for budget-conscious travellers. The Sedan and SUV tiers include breakfast only. Lunch is at your own expense but our team can recommend excellent restaurants near Agra Fort, including Dasaprakash (South Indian), Pind Balluchi (Punjabi), or the famous Kacchi Gali for local Agra specialities. The Luxury tier includes a complimentary three-course Taj-view lunch at a curated rooftop restaurant as part of the package.
The Taj Mahal limits the number of visitors allowed in at any one time. For peak season visits (October–March), we strongly recommend purchasing tickets in advance via the official ASI online portal (asi.payumoney.com).
